Indoor workouts Monday/Wednesday 7:45 – 9:00 p.m.

Monday/Wednesday, 7:45 – 9:00 p.m., Hawk Gym (next to the wrestling room at the high school, north east of Ruth Thibault Way). These workouts are optional, and are intended to give the players an opportunity to prepare for tryouts and the coming season. The focus of the workouts will be to get our bodies in shape and ready to throw by the end of February. We will be doing conditioning (core, shoulder strength and stability using a J-band program, legs, etc.), speed training, and improving mechanics.

We will also be offering hitting sessions @ Play it Again Sports. The schedule is posted on the SignupGenius link on our website. Hitting is typically on Sunday, but there are some conflicts on a couple Sundays, so we’ll offer Thursdays on those weeks. Refer to the SignupGenius for the full schedule. No hitting tomorrow 2/4.

Bring all forms to our registration/fundraising meeting for all families, both new and returning on January 28th, 6 p.m., at the Comfort Inn. For the meeting, please bring your player’s:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Player Indemnification form (a notary will be available at the meeting)
  3. MHSA physical exam form
  4. $50 tryout check
  5. The drug policy is currently under review—a revised policy will be released by the meeting date, and can be signed before tryouts
