The Bucks Family is proud to announce that Senior Finn Snyder has committed to study and play baseball at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Macalester, a private Liberal Arts College, is a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the NCAA Division III. Snyder plans to major in math and advanced data analytics.

Macalester Coach Matt Parrington said about Finn, “Finn will be a welcomed addition to our baseball program and we are excited to work with him over the next four years.  His level of maturity and focus will instantly add value to our team culture.  Finn’s bat is a very good tool and we project him as a power hitter as he continues to develop.”

Snyder patrolled left field and was a productive hitter for the 2018 Bucks, leading the team in batting average, OBP, slugging percentage, and OPS. He also pitched over 40 innings, with an era below 3.0.

Bozeman Bucks Coach Schultz added: “I’m proud of Finn and so happy he found such a great fit at Macalester. He has really put the time, energy, and focus into becoming a great student, teammate, and ballplayer. He is a joy to coach because he loves the game so much and approaches practice with the purpose of getting better every day. I’m glad we get him for another summer, and can’t wait to follow his career at Macalester after that.”
