The Bucks AA takes on the Billings Royals at Dehler Park in Billings tonight at 7 pm in day 2 of the Montana Legion State Tournament. The games are streamed live at Missoula Prep Sports Network https://www.montanalegionbaseball.org/state-aa.
The games will also be aired on the radio at 95.9 KGVM and KGVM.org.
The Bozeman Bucks AA team closed out the regular season with a 21 – 3 conference record, making them the 2020 Conference Champions and earning the top seed entering the state tournament. Along with the #1 seed, the Bucks will have a bye in the first round of the state tournament. Their first game will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 6th vs. the winner of the Billings Royals/Scarlets first round game. The tournament will be played at Dehler Park in Billings, the site of the 2019 state tournament where the Bucks won their first state championship since 2007.
The #4 Bucks A teams heads down the road today to Three Forks to take on the #5 Dillon Cubs in Southern A District Tournament action! The game starts at 9 a.m. The tournament is double-elimination and runs through Sunday. Go Bucks!
The annual Howard Rein “A” Tournament Schedule has been revised due to wet weather leading to unplayable field conditions. Games will now start at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. There will be 9 teams competing in Bozeman over 4 days, from June 18 – 21.
The Bucks AA came out on top last night 4 – 3 over a very competitive Gillette team. It was a great pitcher’s duel between Bozeman’s Hunter Williams and Gillette’s Hayden Sylte.
The Bucks host two more good teams today in a double header vs. the Yakima Pepsi Beetles at 4:30 p.m. and the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen at 7 p.m. Looks like another great forecast for today’s games…come cheer on your Bucks!
The Bucks AA (11 – 2) is set to host the Gillette (WY) Roughriders (16 – 1) tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Heroes Park in what’s sure to be a great ballgame. Both teams are off to very hot starts this spring. The weather forecast looks great this evening…come down and enjoy a ballgame and cheer on your Bucks!
The Bucks AA host 5 teams from 4 states this week, Tuesday through Saturday. The Bucks will play 7 games in 5 days as they go up against some very strong competition. Heroes Park is open to 500 fans and will be serving full concessions and beer. Come down and enjoy some good baseball!
With the transition to Phase 2 of Governor Bullock’s re-opening plan, and through coordination with Gallatin County’s Health Department, Heroes Park is now able to open up to fans! Full beer and concessions sales will be available as well. Social distancing is still recommended at the facility, especially at bottleneck areas such as entrances/exits, concessions, and bleachers. Please do your part to: stay home if you’re sick, frequently sanitize, and distance as best as possible.
