Bozeman Bucks – AA Jumps Out to Early Lead in Victory Over Miles City Outlaws

Bozeman Bucks – AA grabbed an early lead on its way to a 7-5 victory over Miles City Outlaws on Friday. Bozeman Bucks – AA scored on a walk by Andrew Purpura in the first inning, a groundout by Jake Buck in the first inning, and a triple by Purpura in the second inning.
Miles City Outlaws captured the lead in the first inning. Mac Gross doubled on a 1-2 count in the first inning, scoring two runs.
Bozeman Bucks – AA took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first there was an error, scoring one run, Jake Buck grounded out, scoring one run, and there was an error, scoring one run.
Bozeman Bucks – AA scored three runs in the second inning. Bozeman Bucks – AA scored its runs on a triple by Andrew Purpura.
Alex Ekstrom earned the win for Bozeman Bucks – AA. He tossed four innings, giving up three runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Kyle Nielson took the loss for Miles City Outlaws. He went two innings, surrendering six runs, three hits, and striking out four.
Kelher Murfitt, Ryan Evenson, Tyler Dobie, Buck, Purpura, and Adam Hubley each managed one hit to lead Bozeman Bucks – AA. Purpura led Bozeman Bucks – AA with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.
Miles City Outlaws collected seven hits. Dylan Munroe and Kasey Seyfert each collected multiple hits for Miles City Outlaws.
