Bucks A and B Head Coaches Hired

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Head Coaches for the A and B teams in the upcoming 2024 season. Dan Purpura will be rejoining the coaching staff of Bozeman Legion Baseball as the Head Coach for the A team. With a rich history of coaching at various levels within our program, Dan brings an extensive understanding of the game and a familiarity with many of our players. Notably, Dan has served as both an assistant and a Head Coach in our program in previous seasons, with his most recent role being the Head Coach of the B team in 2021. Over the last two decades, Dan has dedicated numerous hours to working with baseball and softball players in the Bozeman community.

His return adds not only experience but also a deep connection to the local sports community. We are confident that Dan’s wealth of knowledge and coaching background will significantly enhance not only the A team but the overall success of our program in the upcoming season.

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that Joe Binstock, who previously served as the assistant coach for the B team in 2023, will step into the Head Coach role for the upcoming 2024 season. Joe made a significant contribution to our staff in 2023, returning to coaching after a brief hiatus. Before joining the coaching staff of the Bucks, Joe was a part of the coaching staffs for the Laurel Dodgers and the Dickinson Roughriders Legion teams, serving in capacities as both an assistant and a Head Coach. With Joe’s substantial coaching experience at the legion level and his deep familiarity with our program, he is the ideal leader to guide the B team in 2024. We eagerly look forward to the positive impact of Joe’s leadership on the team’s success in the upcoming season.
